RATES
Rates shown are quoted in Canadian dollars. All rates are subject to change.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of $350.00 per person is required at time of booking and the final balance is payable not less than 45 days prior to the departure. Passenger booking within 45 days must pay the full amount at time of booking. If the chosen holiday is not available or any suggested alternative is not accepted payment will be refunded in full.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
Written notice is required. The following amounts apply: Cancellations received more than 45 days prior to departure = $350.00 per person. 44 days to departure = 100% non-refundable.
CHANGES
Once reservations are confirmed Star Travel Holiday reserves the right to levy a charge of $25.00 per person to cover administration and communication costs.
NOT INCLUDED IN THESE TOURS
Meals and drinks (except where stated) tips, airport taxes, laundry, and all other items of personal nature.
AIRLINE RESPONSIBILITY
Any airline carrier providing transportation in connection with these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passenger contract in use by the airline concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the passenger of these tours and/or the passenger. Similar responsibility as noted applies to all types of carriers, including car rental companies.
HOTEL AND APARTMENT NOTES
Star Travel Holidays will not be liable for any description of its Hotels and Apartments. Photographs and descriptions are only representational and not guaranteed that everything will be exactly or operational as depicted, at the location on arrival.
CAR RENTAL NOTES
Car rentals are based on a 24 hour rental. No refund will be given for use of less than minimum time or mileage. Tolls, garaging, gas and Portuguese airport tax are not included in price. Baby seats, roof racks on request and are paid locally. Minimum age of driver is 21 years. Second driver will have extra charges to be paid locally. Pick up and drop off in Lisbon/Faro/Porto (no drop off charge). Regarding deliveries: between 12 am to 7 am subject to a service charge. Cars may be driven into Spain and must be returned to Portugal. No international driving permit is required.
LIABILITY
Star Travel Holidays, 2740 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, B.C. V5N 5P4, telephone (604) 876-2212 will supply only the portion of tour services and accommodations described in this brochure; or, substitute services and accommodations with respect to the land portion of this tour, as Star Travel Holidays shall in their sole and unfettered discretion see fit.
Under no circumstances shall Star Travel Holidays be responsible for any loss, expense, damages, claims or injury, direct, or indirect, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, howsoever caused or incurred whether arising in services or accommodations for the land portion of the tour as described or substituted and including, without restricting the generality of foregoing as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s) or change(s) in the provision of the services and accommodations in the land portion of the tour by Star Travel Holiday or any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or third parties whatsoever, supplying any of the services and accommodations herein or as substituted.
Star Travel Holidays in their sole and unfettered discretion reserves the right to refuse any person as a member of a tour or to rescind any contract or other arrangements made with any person to be a member of a tour at any time.
Star Travel Holidays will not be liable under any circumstances to refund any unused portion of the herein mentioned tour including any substitutions.
If any services and accommodations with respect to the land portion of this tour are substituted at all times Star Travel Holidays will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with services and accommodations of a comparable type and kind to those described in the brochure.
