Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park is considered the biggest terrestrial-maritime reserve in the West Mediterranean Sea in Europe.
Elected as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and involved in the Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance, Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park is considered as the biggest terrestrial-maritime reserve in the West Mediterranean Sea in Europe.
This natural park includes a Marine reserve, the Carboneras town and the Sierra de Cabo de Gata Mountains, and a significant part of it is featured in this video shared to us by Juan Rayos. He shares the journey of seven girls, their love for skateboarding and the fun they had in Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park. He describes the journey as follows:
“Road trip in Spain with the Longboard Girls Crew… A journey traveling 600 km in the van in order to get to Cabo de Gata Natural Area, in Almeria. They spend three days over there, enjoying unique volcanic-origin landscapes, the deep blue sea breaking against the winding coastline, August relentless sun and secondary roads that leads to small towns and coves in the Mediterranean coast.
…The film documents the adventure of the trip, portraying the girls, their lifestyle and their passion for longboard.”
